Good home security is particularly important during the holiday season. It’s at this time of year when you’re more likely to store expensive items at your home, leave your house unattended more often and even have more guests than you ordinarily would. Burglars know this and are hoping you’re too distracted to practice your normal home security standards. All of your lights should be on a timer so that they come on whether you’re at home in the evening or not. Don’t forget decorative lights around your house, either. Make sure all are timed to give the appearance of someone being at home every night this season.
